- Mode flexibility for varied patient presentations: Our non-invasive solution supports multiple modes, including continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), spontaneous (S), spontaneous/timed (S/T), pressure-assist/control (P-A/C), volume assured pressure support (VAPS), proportional pressure ventilation (PPV), as well as high flow oxygen therapy. This mode breadth helps clinicians adapt to different clinical needs with a single device
- Leak management and synchrony support: Since mask leaks occur in NIV therapy, the SV70 offers automatic leakage management. This feature dynamically adjusts the delivered flow in proportion to real-time airway pressure, helping maintain target pressure delivery. The SV70's EasySync™ synchrony enhancement technology supports triggering responsiveness through waveform-based analysis to help sustain synchrony and reduce the patient and device events that drive unnecessary alarms and cause clinician fatigue
- Intuitive interface and display: The SV70 features a 15.6-inch TFT LCD touch screen with 1920×1080 resolution, supported by a master control knob for parameter confirmation. Ventilation modes and parameters are accessible from the main screen, facilitating adjustments and navigation and supporting clinical workflows
- Monitoring and trending to assist clinical decision making: Our NIV ventilator displays real-time waveforms and measured parameters, and supports up to 192 consecutive hours of graphic and tabular trend data, providing clinical teams with the longitudinal view needed to detect changes in patient status. Integrated SpO₂ and CO₂ monitoring modules (optional) facilitate continuous physiological surveillance without requiring separate bedside monitors. The ROX index is supported when SpO₂ monitoring is active during O2 therapy, alerting clinicians for the potential need to escalate care during High Flow Oxygen Therapy (HFOT)
Our hospital non-invasive ventilator serves adult and pediatric patients with a minimum body weight of 20 kg who are spontaneously breathing individuals presenting with respiratory failure, chronic respiratory insufficiency, or obstructive sleep apnea.
Pediatric patients may present with anatomical and physiological considerations different from those of adult patients, including smaller anatomical structures that affect interface selection and delivered volumes, and a greater susceptibility to motion-related artifacts during monitoring. We encourage clinical teams to review all applicable parameters, interface selection, and alarm limit settings when transitioning between patient populations, in accordance with their institution's protocols and applicable clinical guidelines.
Contraindications for NIV include respiratory or cardiac arrest, inability to protect the airway due to decreased consciousness, risk of aspiration, or excessive secretions, facial trauma or deformity preventing mask seal, and severe agitation or lack of patient cooperation, among others. Patients with untreated pneumothorax, active vomiting, or signs of gastrointestinal bleeding are also not appropriate candidates for NIV. Clinicians should review all contraindications outlined in the SV70 Operator's Manual and their institution's clinical protocols prior to initiating therapy.
