Transport Monitoring

Patient monitoring during transport poses various challenges. From workflow complexities to patient safety, clinicians need solutions that help them continue providing the same standard of care regardless of the setting. At Mindray North America, we developed a transport monitor to meet your needs. Whether measuring physiological parameters during an emergency or making decisions during an intra-hospital transfer, our device helps support patient safety.

Supporting Clinicians with a Versatile Transport Monitor

  • Mindray Offers:
    Grab-and-Go Wireless Adaptability

The ability to preserve continuous patient monitoring during transport affects patient outcomes, clinician confidence, and workflow efficiency. This makes adding a transport monitor to your clinical fleet an essential strategic investment.

    Enhanced Clinical Workflows

With a grab-and-go feature, clinicians can detach the Mindray Transport Monitor from a bedside monitor, transforming it into a wireless solution without managing cables or changing settings. This transition preserves monitoring data, simplifying patient transportation.

  • Continued Patient Safety
    Data Continuity

Our monitor supports data continuity residing on the BeneVision Distributed Monitoring System (DMS) throughout transport. This enables clinical teams to monitor heart rate, non-invasive blood pressure, and other parameters, remotely using DMS workstations or mobile applications. With the BeneVision N1’s data storage capability of up to 48 hours of full disclosure and defibrillator synchronization, you can achieve the same level of monitoring during transport as at the bedside.

Our Transport Monitoring Portfolio
The BeneVision N1 Monitor is a compact monitor serving multiple tasks. Weighing only two pounds, clinicians can move with it easily while continuing patient monitoring. A 5.5-inch smartphone-style touchscreen display and an intuitive user interface (UI) design, offers versatility and adapts to various critical roles. Its functions include:
Product Image Switch Component 924x693 - patient-transport-at-corner-CO2-924x693
A transport monitor
The N1 Transport Monitor measures extensive parameters with optional CO2 and four invasive pressures on transport. An eight-hour battery run time, supports prolonged transportation.
Product Image Switch Component 924x693 - n1-with-modules-924x693
A multi-parameter module
As the core of the BeneVision N-Series Patient Monitors, the N1 serves as the central module for collecting patient parameters. When docked into any N-Series Monitor, it provides the data clinicians need to provide patient care.
Product Image Switch Component 924x693 - n1-held-by-doctor-924x693
A bedside monitor
To expand bedside viewing, clinical teams can slide the N1 Monitor with its Transport Module Rack (TMR) into a dock and connect it to the Mindray 22-inch display. This enhances visualization to support the vast monitoring needs of different hospital departments.

Clinical Applications of the Mindray Transport Monitor

In the critical clinical setting, where clinicians often make prompt decisions, adaptability is an essential feature of any transport monitor. Our solution adheres to this requirement by supporting:

  • Intra-hospital transfers: The Mindray Transport Monitor supports patient movement between hospital departments, from the Emergency Department (ED) to the Operating Room (OR) or from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to the Radiology exam room. It maintains continuous, gap-free monitoring, enabling clinical teams to preserve patient safety
  • Emergencies: Clinicians can quickly deploy our transport monitor, accompanying the patient for fast evaluation and intervention
  • Procedure monitoring: In rooms where fixed bedside patient monitors are not available, such as endoscopy suites and diagnostic areas, our transport monitor is a versatile solution, helping clinical teams maintain patient stability during procedures
