While 2D imaging remains the foundation, Volumetric 3D and 4D Ultrasound capabilities are essential for anatomical verification and diagnostic certainty. Mindray offers these capabilities with ZONE Sonography® Technology⁺ (ZST⁺), which penetrates deep to deliver clear, detailed images. To monitor fetal health, our obstetric ultrasound machines feature automation algorithms, such as Smart Planes CNS, that automatically detect and measure the fetal cranial structures, reducing operator variability and exam times. iLive with Hyaline uses transparency effects to produce skin-like fetal images, while Smart Face automates the removal of obstructions, such as the umbilical cord, to provide a clear view of the fetal face.

Gynecological Ultrasound Machines for Reproductive Health
A gynecological ultrasound machine is capable of performing transvaginal and/or transabdominal assessment and supports early pregnancy exams, complex gynecological diagnoses, and IVF assessments. Smart features like Smart FLC automatically measure follicle volumes to speed up calculations, while Smart Pelvic provides automatic measurements of the levator hiatus for diagnosing pelvic floor dysfunction. To characterize ovarian tumors, Glazing Flow delivers a 3D visual of micro-vascular structures, allowing clinical teams to establish the boundaries of discrete masses and complex vascular anatomy. HD Scope technology enhances contrast resolution during gynecological imaging, while Ultra Micro-Angiography identifies low-velocity blood flow, helping characterize subtle lesions such as ovarian masses.

Breast Ultrasound for Women’s Preventive Health
In addition to mammography, ultrasound is a widely used imaging modality in breast evaluation. It is particularly valuable in assessing dense breast tissue, where mammography alone may have limitations in detecting abnormalities. Breast ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of breast tissue, allowing clinicians to differentiate between solid masses and fluid-filled cysts, evaluate palpable lumps, and characterize suspicious lesions identified on mammography or MRI. It is also the preferred guidance tool for minimally invasive procedures such as core needle biopsies and cyst aspirations. Advanced technologies such as Sound Touch Elastography (STE) and Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) have further expanded diagnostic capabilities, improving sensitivity for malignancy detection and supporting more confident clinical decision-making.
