QShock™ Plus not only performs synchronous pre-charging during CPR but also maintains sufficient energy to keep the AED ready. After every CPR cycle, a shock can be delivered in as little as 5 seconds.

360J BTe, energy matters- 2025 ERC Guideline

Escalating higher-energy defibrillation regimens (200-300-360 J) are more likely to maintain ventricular fibrillation (VF) termination and restore an organized rhythm compared to fixed low-energy regimens (200-200-200 J). This suggests that higher-energy defibrillation might be preferred in patients with OHCA experiencing shockable rhythms.

Defibrillation requires the delivery of sufficient electrical energy to defibrillate a critical mass of myocardium, abolish the wavefronts of VF and enable restoration of spontaneous synchronised electrical activity in the form of an organised rhythm.

360J works while 200J failed

360J high-energy defibrillation can cover more people with high defibrillation threshold (DFT) to terminate ventricular fibrillation.

Escalating higher-energy (360J) group showed higher conversion success rate and presented a more organised rhythm after multiple shocks.
