Statement of Mindray on Authorized Channels of Product Sales and Customer Rights Protection

To Our Valued Customers:

Mindray, as a globally leading professional medical equipment and solutions provider, strictly complies with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the countries and regions where it operates, and continuously provides compliant, safe, high-quality medical products and standardized after-sales services to customers worldwide.

In response to the sale of Mindray products through non-Mindray-authorized distributors/channels（hereinafter referred to as “Unauthorized Channels”）and illegitimate practices identified in the international market, including the modification, counterfeiting, or other illegal practices, and in order to protect our customers’ legitimate rights, interests and patients safety, we hereby declare as follows:

Mindray aims to distribute and market Mindray products and provide related services only through Mindray entities and channels formally authorized by Mindray. 

Products sold by Unauthorized Channels may present the following risks:

1. Non compliance with product market access requirements, which may bring regulatory risks

Registration, market authorization, and regulatory standards for medical devices vary across countries and regions. Products placed on the market or marketed through Unauthorized Channels may fail to comply with local regulatory requirements posing customers and users at risk. Customers procuring or using such products may face regulatory investigations, penalties, or other negative consequences.

2. Illegal import procedures, which may bring risk of economic loss

Products from Unauthorized Channels may involve unlawful or non-compliant practices such as improper customs declaration, lack of lawful customs clearance documents, or evasion of customs supervision. Such products may be inspected, seized, confiscated, or otherwise disposed of by local authorities at any time, which may result in economic losses or other negative consequences for customers.

3. Non standard storage and transport, which may bring clinical safety risks

Unauthorized Channels cannot strictly follow Mindray’s standardized storage and transport protocols. Because Mindray cannot verify the storage, transportation, installation, maintenance, calibration, or service history of products obtained through Unauthorized Channels, it cannot be assured that such products have been handled in accordance with the quality and safety requirements. This may affect device performance and clinical use, and may give rise to medical safety risks.

4. No official after sales support, and lack of safety support

Mindray and its authorized channels provide full official services only for products sold through channels duly authorized by Mindray, including installation, commissioning, operational training, device calibration, software upgrades, fault repair, quality traceability, and product safety corrections. Products from Unauthorized Channels may be unable to obtain complete and traceable official technical support, which may create safety management gaps and give rise to device safety risks and potential harm to patient health and safety.

5. Difficulty in seeking recourse and inadequate protection of rights and interests

Unauthorized Channels may lack of qualifications, licenses, permits, or capabilities required for product sales, importation, or related services. In the event of product quality issues, device malfunctions, or lack of service,  it would be unable to trace the source of the products or pursue recourse through regular channels, and it would be difficult to protect the lawful rights and interests of customers.

You may verify Mindray products and authorized channels through the following methods:

1. Visit Mindray’s official website, contact the local Mindray entity, and verify the authorization of the channel.

2. Request from the seller and verify a valid authorization certificate officially issued by Mindray.

3. Scan the QR code on the device body and contact Mindray’s official after sales center using the device serial number (SN) or other relevant information to verify the traceability information relating to the product distribution.

Mindray remains firmly committed to combating illegal practices and any other practices that pose our customers and patients at risk, including (but not limited to) product counterfeiting, modification, tampering, or alteration of product nameplates or parameters. For all products sold, or distributed not in conformity with the principles set forth in this statement, or modified, altered, or counterfeited products, Mindray, to the extent permitted by any applicable law, shall take no responsibility or assume no risk or liability for product quality, after-sales service, technical support, or safety corrective measures. For any acts that infringe Mindray’s lawful rights or harm customer interests, Mindray reserves the right to take appropriate legal actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
