A Look Back at 2019: Moments of the Year

The year 2019 is coming to an end, and the bell of the New Year 2020 is going to ring. To celebrate the end of 2019 and usher in the start of the new year, let’s recap the year by looking back at the important moments that have made 2019 unforgettable.

Mindray has always been committed to technological innovation based on customer requirements. In 2019, Mindray released a series of new products, which has helped to bring better healthcare to more regions and more people in need.

Mindray launched the BeneHeart C Series as a latest member of AED family in September, marking the big step Mindray made towards being a public emergency supporter.

Officially launched in February, 2019, the ePM series combines excellent visual and operation experience with Mindray's innovative CrozFusion technology and the specially designed sub-acute IT solution.

Officially launched in April, 2019, the HyLED X Series is developed to optimize surgical illumination and protect surgeon's eyes with the innovative Multi-Patch Superposition Technology and iRelax feature.

Mindray innovatively integrates the MWAN technology, the first medical-grade telemetry network technology, into the BeneVision TM80 telemetry monitor, leading safer ambulatory patient monitoring in the CCU.

SAL 9000 Modular System, with industry-leading throughputs in chemistry & immunoassay testing and innovative sample delivery module, was launched to the international market in 2019.

Mindray's full stack of intelligent solution for women health debuted this year at ISUOG, aiming to address the clinical challenges ranging from pre-pregnancy, pregnancy to postpartum recovery.

In pursuit of higher standards and better service, Mindray has continuously gone above and beyond to forge ahead. With its outstanding achievements and high-quality innovations, Mindray has been recognized by many professional media and worldwide institutions in 2019.

Resona 7 has received CE certificate, which makes Mindray the first China medical device manufacturer that received European Medical Device Regulation (MDR (EU) 2017/745) certificate, issued by TÜV SÜD.

Mindray North America was honored to be recognized as the excellent medical equipment supplier by the GPO partner HPG.

Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov visited Mindray Shenzhen headquarters. He highly recognized the dedication Mindray has made to the local Uzbek healthcare industry and expected to see more Mindray solutions in Uzbekistan.

2019 has witnessed a series of global exchanges which has bolstered our spirit of multi-dimensional cooperation. Led or supported by Mindray, different kinds of cross-regional and professional platforms were deveoped to create more opportunities for experts of different countries to exchange ideas and knowledge in the healthcare sector.

Multi-dimensional Coordination

Sponsored by Mindray, the Belt and Road Initiative-Guangzhou International Hospitals Forum for Cooperation and Development was successfully held in Guangzhou in May.

The 4th China International Clinical Engineering Forum for Innovation and Development (ICEF) was held in Shanghai in May. As the co-organizer, Mindray invited overseas experts to share ideas on clinical engineering.

The 2nd Asia Medical Week: Asian Medical Innovation and Development Forum opened in Shanghai in October. As the supporter of the forum, Mindray invited top-tier overseas experts to share their insights.

Asia Medical Week-Indonesian Outreach: The1st International Hospital Capacity Building Forum was held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in Novemeber.

Mindray held “Private Hospital Management Exchange” in India in September. More than 60 Chinese and Indian private hospital CEOs, investors,experts gathered to share experience in hospital management and discuss China-India healthcare.

The 8th All-Russia Congress of Russian Association of Specialists in medical ultrasonic diagnosis was held in October. Joining hands with Mindray, Prof. Liang Ping, the Chairman of the Ultrasound Medical Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and Prof Vladimir Mitkov, President of Russian Association of Specialists in Ultrasound Diagnostic in Medicine signed an agreement to establish strategic partnership between two associations.

The Chinese Society of Anesthesiology (CSA) rounded off its 27th annual meeting in Hangzhou in November. Mindray made a splash at the 4-day sensational medical event with the advanced perioperative solutions.

HemaTalk is a platform where international hematologists, pathologists and laboratory professionals come together in China, to have discussions with Mindray hematology product team and R&D team and exhanges with top hospitals. HemaTalk has seen the participation of over 170 experts from 28 countries and regions in 2019.

Mindray held the Second Cytomorphometery Unveiling Blood Evaluation(CUBE) in April in Mumbai, India, a high-level academic forum discussing complete blood counts and Mindray’s SF Cube 3D analysis technology in hematology.

The Asia-Pacific Laboratory Medicine Summit, sponsored by China Association for Medical Devices Industry and co-organized by Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine as well as Mindray, was held on Oct 19-20 in Beijing, China.

M-Elite program is a global platform gathering experts for academic exchanges. With the collaboration of training centers in China and EU, 4 events in Chinese teaching hospitals, and 6 events in European clinical training centers were held in 2019.

Mindray Ultrasound Forum (MUF) gathered speakers from around the world to share latest clinical and research progress, and introduce on clinical cases in which Mindray technology was applied. In 2019, two MUF were held in Turkey and Miami.

The Resona Club is a network of Mindray Resona system users, all of whom are dedicated to clinical excellence in the use of ultrasound technology. In 2019, three Resona Club sessions were held in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Staying tuned in to local customers’ needs, Mindray has been fully dedicated to the local market and responding timely with customized solutions. In 2019, Mindray has partnered with a large number of local hospitals in different regions. And Mindray has continued to set up more local subsidiaries to be a step closer to the market. Besides, Mindray has also showcased comprehensive products portfolio at different global major events to share latest technologies with more people.

On June 29th, Mindray announced the opening of the first subsidiary in Francophone Africa and the 40th overseas subsidiary, Mindray Medical Morocco.

On April 20, Mindray India held the opening ceremony of new Mumbai office.

A comprehensive range of Mindray products are installed in the ICU, A&E, EAU, heartcare centre and general wards in Salford Royal Hospital, one of the highest performing Trusts in UK, to help them standardize patient monitoring systems and achieve paparless workflow.

Mindray has established a partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center,one of the top children’s hospitals in the United States, providing the Resona 7 Ultrasound System with ZST+ and newly designed pediatric transducers.

With the vision of “better healthcare for all”, Mindray has always been dedicated to social responsibility. Through donations to people in need, trainings that help end-users to acquire more skills, Mindray has been honored and delighted to be able to make contribution in different forms to the local communities and bring more benefits to more people.

On Mar.15, the Children’s Memorial Health Institute of Poland held a charitable concert. Mr. Cheng Minghe, President of Mindray, was invited to the show and donated the Mindray AED to the Institute on the stage.

In Coron, the Phlippines, the tourist boats were equipped with Mindray BeneHeart D1 and AED and CPR trainings were provided by Mindray to the boat crew. In this December, with the help of BeneHeart D1 on the boat, a tourist was saved from a sudden cardiac arrest.

From the northernmost reaches of the Arctic Circle to the southernmost reaches of South America, from the tropical desert to the frigid land, Mindray has forged ahead to advance medical technologies and will continue bringing better healthcare within reach. There is no destination of that and Mindray will strain every effort to fulfill its mission.
