Mindray gets the seal of approval for information security management with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification across Europe

Mindray has successfully earned the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for the information security management system (ISMS) across the entire European business. To celebrate the achievement, Mindray received the official certificate at a handover event on 27 March 2023.
The award comes after months of extensive implementation assisted by our consultants and diligent auditing conducted by DNV Business Assurance UK Limited across all Mindray product lines, supporting functions, and locations in Europe.

 

ISO 27001 is one of the most well-known international standards to manage information security. It provides a framework to help organisations manage information security risks, protect themselves from threats, and keep assets secure, such as financial information and employee data. This standard also helps businesses meet legislative and regulatory requirements, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

The certification underpins Mindray’s commitment to keeping the information it holds about customers, business partners, and staff secure and confidential.

 

Customers have added reassurance that their information is handled and stored to consistently high standards within Mindray Europe.
Following successful implementation and audits, the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certificate covers all areas of the Mindray Europe business, including:

  • sales and marketing services for the Patient Monitoring and Life Support (PMLS), Medical Imaging Systems (MIS), In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) product lines, as well as Electrosurgery, Endoscopy and Ultrasonic surgery;
  • supporting functions such as Operations, Service, Human Resources, Information Technology, Public Relations and Governmental Affairs, Marketing and Communications, Finance, Legal and Compliance;
  • all office and warehouse locations in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, and the UK.

Receiving the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification across Mindray’s European operations is a huge achievement and proves we have a consistent approach to managing information security.
