Mindray Medical International Limited, a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, displayed its latest products at MEDICA 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany between November 12 and 15. MEDICA, the world’s largest medical trade fair, attracted more than 130,000 visitors from 120 countries this year.

“As always, we are pleased to showcase our latest products and technological achievements at MEDICA 2014,” said Mr. Minghe Cheng, Mindray’s Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategic Officer. “Mindray has been participating in MEDICA for 14 years, which is a great platform for sharing innovation and ideas in the development of medical devices.”

At the fair, we introduced Mindray’s latest SV-300 ventilator, DC-8Exp ultrasound machine, and other new digital radiography and surgical products – all of which received positive feedback from distributors attending the event.

SV300 is a state-of-the-art ventilator that is simple to configure and easy to operate for a wide range of needs. Its high-performance turbine provides excellent spontaneous-breathing capabilities for both invasive and non-invasive (NIV) applications. Its sleek size and easily detachable trolley allow users to easily wheel it around the hospital. Another new patient-monitoring product displayed at MEDICA is the ENVISION TM-80, which keeps the ambulatory patients always monitored for progressive care. Patient retains the freedom to go anywhere through the whole hospital, and caregiver retains the freedom to be realtimely informed whenever at patient's side.

Also exhibited at the fair was the BC-30s, a new three-part hemotology analyzer ideal for diagnostic laboratories wishing to upgrade their operation and efficiency. The BC-30s is compact in size and offers optimal power efficiency as well as other advanced and user-friendly functions.

Mindray also showcased its newly launched DC-8Exp ultrasound machine. Designed using Mindray’s patent Automatic Recognition Transcient Flow ("ART Flow") technology for deep vascular scanning, the ultrasound machine can acquire hard-to-detect blood flow with superb color sensitivity. It also boasts the innovative Smart Middle Sagital Plane ("MSP") technology, which is Mindray’s exclusive algorithm that displays accurate fetal brain anatomy in 3D images.

DigiEye 760 Pro digital radiography system was another new product exhibited at MEDICA. Visitors were attracted by its ability to provide X-ray in a more stable manner that reduces its harmfulness on patients. Its intuitive and multilingual user interface as well as multiple control modes will be able to satisfy technicians with wide-ranging needs.

Mindray also launched its new operating table – the HyBase 8300/8500 – marking a milestone for the company as it moves into the high-end operating table market. Another new-generation product was the HyPort 3000/6000/9000, a medical supply unit with innovative and ergonomic design, an integrated central touch-screen system as well as a GSS modular power-outlet system.
