As the COVID-19 pandemic brought great distress in the country, Mindray India and its channel engineers did not hesitate to take responsibility when customers needed them. Our engineers had been in the field during lockdown to install and service lifesaving devices like Ventilators, Patient Monitors, Ultrasound and In-Vitro Diagnostic instruments to support healthcare warriors in their fight against COVID-19.
Mindray India’s vast network of channel partners comprising qualified and skilled on-ground engineers from has continuously assisted corona warriors in healthcare systems such as physicians, biomedical engineers, paramedical workers throughout India. Our channel engineers have carried out and responded to a considerable number of service operations and installed new instruments in significant numbers in the last 6 months of lockdown. Mindray India HO has ensured that all our engineers in the field take the required precautionary measures to protect from cross-contamination, provide the required inter-district transport assistance so that our team remains secure and can continue to assist healthcare heroes in these test times.
When the nation was stranded and confined to the walls of our homes, our channel engineers took the onus and ensured that life-saving medical equipment like ventilators reached our customers and that there wasn’t a shortage of crucial equipment. They were out there in the high risks zone to install essential devices like patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, laboratory and ultrasound instruments. We were amongst the very few medical devices manufacturers in the country which continued preventive maintenance of existing life-saving instruments as per schedule so that healthcare heroes don’t face any breakdown or shortage of active medical equipment and can save maximum lives.
Our service team paid special attention to train our customers on how to disinfect Mindray equipment like patient monitors, ventilators, anaesthesia workstations, ultrasound systems and laboratory equipment so that healthcare warriors remain safe. End-users of these life-saving devices played and continue to play a vital role in this pandemic and their safety was and is our top priority. Hence a series of online as well as physical training were organised to detail protocol for sanitisation and disinfection of these devices used in COVID-19 isolation wards.
Our engineers went all out in providing necessary refresher training to COVID-19 warriors via digital means. This was an initiative undertaken by Mindray India’s service team during lockdown utilising digital technology to fully equip frontline workers to use clinical information from our instruments for better patient care.
