Mindray (SZSE: 300760) has unveiled a new member of the HyBase high-end operating table family: the HyBase V8 mobile operating table, which can instantly adapt to any surgical environment, helping to provide the highest level of patient care.

The modular tabletop design of the  HyBase V8 is tailored for various surgical discipline needs. It contains over 150 attachments and modules which can create various combination to adjust surgical positions, especially friendly for minimal invasive surgeries and cardiovascular surgery. The max weight capability is up to 460kg with extra stability. The HyBase V8 supports the bidirectional longitudinal shift of up to 350mm, and the slope angle can reach 36° compared to the common 30° in the market. This feature is specifically helpful to kidney and bladder related surgeries that require wider image access.

Keeping patient safety in mind, the HyBase V8 has incorporated the Intelligent Collision Protection System (ICPS) to monitor the movement, which can provide color-coded indication on the remote controller in order to avoid collision with any obstruction. Surgical staff are able to observe the movement in real-time and aware of excessive or reverse Trendelenburg positions even if the table is covered by sterile sheets.


In addition, the HyBase V8 has seen a great improvement in terms of mobility. Under urgent circumstance, the extra electric caster of E-drive function is able to efficiently save manual labor and precious time on the move.
