Hosted by the esteemed Guangdong Hospital Association, this conference specifically focused on the pressing issues within public health, where attendees delved into profound insights on global healthcare innovation and development.

Academic Exchange to Boost the Industry Development

Since its inception in 2019, the Guangzhou International Forum for Hospital Cooperation and Development has been an influential annual event. This year's forum marked its third consecutive successful edition. The gathering provided a platform for experts from worldwide to engage in meaningful exchanges and share profound insights. Encompassing a wide range of topics, such as Hospital Quality Management and Patient Safety, Digital Healthcare and Innovation, Hospital Nursing Management, etc.

 

During the sub-forum on the Digitalization and Innovation of Healthcare, experts delved into innovative strategies and experiences in smart hospital development. Chen Zhaohui, Deputy Director of the Information Center at Zhejiang People's Hospital, presented on the topic of IOT Helps with Building Smart Hospital providing a detailed analysis and sharing the achievements of smart hospital development at Zhejiang People's Hospital.

Professor Cherdchai Nopmaneejumruslers, Deputy Dean of Siriraj Hospital at Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, introduced nine projects implemented during the construction of their 5G smart hospital.

In the sub-forum on Hospital Management Quality and Patient Safety, Dr. Mohamed El Sahili, the CEO of Medland Hospital in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, shared experiences in sustainable healthcare and providing quality medical services, under the theme of Redesigning Sustainable Healthcare for Better Communities.

Enlightening Visit for Sharing Medical Advancements

Seizing the opportunity provided by this esteemed conference, experts and scholars from Thailand, Namibia, Zambia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia took advantage of their presence to visit renowned healthcare institutions in China. Notably, these visits included the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (Nansha Campus) and Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University. The purpose of these visits was to gain insights into the remarkable strides made in informationization and overall development by these leading hospitals in China.

Furthermore, the international expert delegations also visited the headquarters of Mindray and its Guangming manufacturing center. These tours offered a firsthand experience of Mindray's cutting-edge technologies and innovative accomplishments.

The forum is a great chance that we can meet up with some international experts.
