Mindray Medical Expands Comprehensive Hospital-Based Patient Monitoring Solutions with INVOS™ Brain Monitoring Technology
2015-10-10
Mindray Medical International Limited, a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, announced today that it is now offering industry-leading INVOS™ cerebral/somatic oximetry monitoring technology in Mindray’s BeneVision Patient Monitoring Solutions.
The INVOS™ technology offers Mindray a unique opportunity to expand its delivery of comprehensive monitoring technologies that provide clinicians real-time information to rapidly assess patient status and proactively determine the most appropriate treatment for each patient. It should strengthen Mindray’s presence in the operating room market globally.
The Mindray BeneVision Patient Monitoring System is a powerful and scalable solution providing for continuous, real-time patient data surveillance across healthcare networks of all sizes. The system can display patient information from networked monitors, wireless transport solutions, and telemetry transmitters – up to 1200 devices across the hospital, both locally and remotely.
Mindray products already offer other leading monitoring technologies including Nellcor™ pulse oximetry and respiration rate technology, Microstream™ capnography, and BIS™ brain monitoring.
“We are pleased to be one of the first companies to integrate INVOS™ into our comprehensive patient monitoring solutions,” said Richard Yang, Mindray’s International Marketing VP. “INVOS™ is the most widely used brain oxygen monitor in the world based on extensive clinical evidence related to neurological and vital organ function; adding this technology will be reassuring for many clinicians who manage patients in high-risk surgeries, including surgeons, anesthetists, perfusionists and extended care teams.”
